Kuching Wetlands National Park

The Kuching Wetlands National Park (KWNP) is a national park in Malaysia. It is what remains of the former Sarawak mangrove forest reserve, which used to cover 170 km² (65 sq. mi.). Located 30 km (18 miles) from Kuching, the wetlands of the national park, which spread out over 66.1 km² (25.5 sq. mi.), were recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage in 1991.
