Belum-Temenggor is the largest forest complex in the Malay peninsula. It is located in the Perak State and in the southern part of neighbouring Thailand. Belum-Temenggor is divided into two parts. Belum is located in the north, near the border with Thailand, while Temenggor is located in the south. The Royal Belum State Park is entirely ensconced in this complex.
